Exercise Equipment Tips

When it comes to Exercise Equipment, we've been there, done that, now serving 2 tips in 1 categories ranging from Exercise Equipment to Exercise Equipment.

To Buy or Not To Buy

Have you seen the latest and greatest infomercial on the newest way to lose weight in 4 weeks or your money back?

Before you reach for the phone, here are a few points to concider:

1. Will you USE it: Are you buying it because the people advertising it look good? Are you buying it because it looks EASY? Or because you will lose weight in 4 weeks?

If you answer "yes" to any of those questions. DON'T BUY IT!

2. Do you currently have exercise equipment at home? Do you use it?

If you answered "yes" to the first question, and "no" to the second. DON'T BUY IT!

In buying any type of exercise equipment, stop and weigh the pros and cons before you purchase. If your pros outweigh the cons, first look on the internet at auction sites, or garage sales to see if you can find it for less. Make sure that it is not an impulse buy. Wait at least 30 days from the time you first thought about buying it, to the time you actually buy it. If you just can't stop thinking about it during that month, buy it. More than likely, you'll forget all about it. (Saving yourself a lot of money in the meanwhile).

Have you decided to go ahead and buy it? Try this helpful tip:

Hire a certified (preferrably degreed) personal trainer to come to your house three or four times to help you get familiar with your new equipment. Nothing will kill your excitement, and turn your new equipment into a clothes rack faster than if you don't even know what to do with it!

Enjoy!
